I nearly believed everything, and then your refusal to respond to viciouskitty74 and jojobeach really just shook your story up. Either you're Adrian himself (which I highly suspect, looking at your signature "AL"), or you're his very gullible friend. Which reminds me, what exactly are you again? His neighbour or his church friend?

The last time hor....I got this female who loves to stir trouble, especially on people who cannot fight back.

She was caught having affairs with a married man, but she tells everyone hor....that she is married, and the married man is her husband good friend thats why she is often out with him while her husband is not around.

ROM has no records of her being married.

BTW, I was re-reading everything and noticed the following:

1) Adrian wants his wife and mother in law dead, so he can take over the care and upbringing of his child so the child will not turn out like his ex wife & grandmother.

2) Adrian has the choice to pursue the issues about false report made about the rape during the marriage. Also on the issues of the ex wife's unreasonable harrassment behaviors are as he claimed it was thru the guidance of the mother in law.

3) Though the ex wife has custody of the child. In the event that the mother and the grandmother is not suitable parent/ guardian of the child. Especially if criminal matters has been bought against them. The custody of the child will go to a more suitable parent. ie Adrian.

Now. Adrian either needs a better friend, or at least a better lawyer. Because there is higher chance, thru 787180 actions and possibly Adrian's indiscreetion to be confiding in his so called 'good neighbour & friend'.

That Adrian is more liable for unreasonable behaviours and is thus no way suitable as a parent even in the event of the ex wife and the mother in law's death.

I must say, 7871780 is doing a good job right now ensuring that Adrian may never be recognised as a competant parent in more years to come.

If you just want to berate Ivy and her mom, you are going about the revenge the wrong way.

Since it is merely personal grudge, you really shouldn't have brought up Women's Charter and public authorities and the use of "Women in Modern Singapore."

I can sympathize Adrian's predicament on a personal level. Because I've seen how ugly divorces can be. Like I mentioned before, not just women can make things difficult for men during a divorce battle, MEN can ALSO be very vicious and unreasonable too.

But if you want to lump everything together, you really should expect an avalanche of protests/disagreement against what you have posted.

If Adrian is really a graduate like what you had mentioned, he knows how to think properly. He knows how to make an informed decision.

What you have posted so far, can only garner SOME empathy ONLY if Adrian is a mentally retarded man.

One thing, 787180 spelled wrongly. And how is 78180 confirmed that there is lying on the mothers or even Ivy's part about liposuction. Was Adrian a virgin and free from any dieseases? Can 787180 confrm that Adrian submitted a medical report to his spouse when he married thus both side should not have 'lied' about each others condition?

Second thing, Thalassemia is a blood disorder. Nothing to do with any surgical procedure.

Third thing, this blood mutation issue has no bearing on any divorce or alimony or woman's charter in any way. Neither does it have any bearing or effect in the legal sense on a marriage, unless Adrian is lamenting about his refusal to follow on his oath about 'Thru sickness & in health'?

You bringing it up, w/o researching it is just plain trying to sensationalize Adrian's stupidity.

i find it so amusing that you keeping blaming women's charter for such irresponsible men's irresponsible action.

They married women whom they hardly know (including those foreigners you are talking about) knowing about the law which protects the weaker sex, yet when things dont work out, they blame the law!

NO ONE uses a knife to force them to marry those 'strangers'! Instead of learning from their lessons, they keep blaming this and that, blame law and blame mother-in-law. This really shows how irresponsible and what kind of characters they have! And yes, that includes your Adrian.

I did, and I am not even in Singapore.

There is reviews underway on the Women's Charter.

One, was to review the immunity given to Husband on 'Raping' the wife.

Another is to review the laws regarding to members of public like yourself, disregarding the privacies of the minors and causing harm to them. Either physically or mentally.

I am sure your story telling will have contravene with whatever already existing law and might be liable for prosecution soon.

Third, on equal income issue. Its was already in practice in the courts that females with higher income will not enjoy any alimony/ maintenance.

(You did mention that Adrian is a graduate? And he is not working at that time? Then he couldn't have been forced to pay maintenance to the wife, only to the child.)

The maintanance is for the Child. But if you find that Adrians $360 is too expensive for a child. I would suggest that Adrian should go for surgery and cut his production ability. Its cheaper in the long run. You should consider that procedure too. It will save you and others a lot of whining.

I have certain memories about Thalassemia Major & Minor, but until this was brought up, then I went and research it further.

I have a g/f who married late, got pregnant and went for a Thalassemia test and found out she is a Major. Thankfully her husband is not. And her child was born w/o that gene.

But there was discussions with other couples who both have that gene and does not reproduce to spare themselves the heartache of a defective child or a possible death by the female who might die during childbirth.

Of a couple, the females with Thalassemia actually has the risk of death in the event of birthing.

IF Ivy knew her risks because she knew she has Thalassemia; and yet willing to give birth to hers & Adrians child. Goes to show how brave she is.

Most couples do not realise that they have Thalassemia until pregnancy where testings would have been done to check for possible downsyndrome and so on.

They didnt mention $360 a month. Maybe 787180 might be more helpful to point out the exact amount of the maintenance amount for the child as ordered by the court.

I am also curious, that 787180 mentioned that Adrian was demanded of $3700 alimony and demanding for A1 class ward for the delivery of a child.

(By the way, its not known as alimony in sg courts, so 787180 might need to clarify where this term came from.)

Can I also know. Was the child birthed before the separation/divorce, or it was during that period that divorce petition papers are served on Adrian and Ivy has not given birth?

Back to the $3700/-. Did Adrian pay it or the Women's Charter did not make Adrian pays it?

I have posted something about Thalasemia on page 3.
Ivy's scar could be due to removal of her spleen.

According to TS, Adrian only paying $400 monthly child support.

No 70% to Ivy for Flat, and no $3700 maintainance.

So only $400 to his own child, and Adrian is already whining like a baby. Because he feels that he shouldn't have to pay since Ivy is earning a higher pay and refused to let him see his child.

Child is going primary one...so about 6 years old.

I don't know how the child visitation works.
But if at 6 years old, Adrian still needs to have supervised visitation sessions with the child, then I think Adrian must have been a rather farked up dad before, for the family court to have such arrangements.

Guess I need to follow more closely to the Threads.

So Ivy removed her spleen. And she has a blood disorder that could easily killed her if she ever gets pregnant & give birth. And yet, she has a child now, 6 years of age.

And $400/- maintenance for a child every month is very difficult.....And he have difficulty visiting the child. So he rather dont pay...

There is one thing missing from the Women's Charter. That it should be right of every female to demand the temporary castration of males until they can earn & save enough to support a child (At least 50% of the child's financial needs. Failing which, they are not allowed to have another child.) Twisted Evil

He went ahead when Ivy proposed to him to get married despite only getting to know each other for 3 mths...probably Ivy was desperado as she was the only unmarried one despite being the elderest in the family...and she hid her Thalsemmia major condition from Adrain knowing well that it will affect her childbearing....the $360,000 HDB flat was purchased with Adrain's cpf and help from his parents..Ivy was earning $3k to $5k per month as a piano teacher but lied to Court that she earned only $900 per month until her own students testified against her in court...Ivy can stoop so low hoping to "bankrupt" Adrain with her exorbitant claims....and yet wanted A1ward when the nurse estimated about $200,000 for delivery child-facts turned out that Ivy spent 50days in the maternity ward but checked out of B2 ward and wanted Adrain to pay all her stay in A1 ward for her remainind days spent in delivery...Ivy and her mum even forbade Adrain from seeing his new born...so as to severe ties so he has to get Court Order 5 times b4 seeing her daughter which by then was already 1 year ago after the lengthy period.And when Ivy and her mum finally turned up for the visitation at FSC serangoon...Ivy and her mum self inflicted injuries on themselves there just to send Adrain packing away to a police-locked up despite Adrain also have a EPO against them....end result Adrain just got apologies from these 2 wicked witches.....Ivy knowing that Court is unlikley to send her or her mum to jail continued to harm Adrain with false police report that he video taped their sexual acts after separation and threatened to publish it to prevent Ivy from claiming the house in division of assets where no such incidents occurred at all...end result was false allegations and Ivy was let off with just a stern police warning only...tell me where is the justice?????.Ivy and her mum would not have stopped here if not for Adrain who has a civil claim against Ivy based on the facts above but he does not go ahead for the sake of his daughter.
